The addition of the eight Spirits has given them many more ways to retain this advantage through several different forms of opposition
If you are capable of healing your cards, through items, actions, or character abilities, and Beast, Tragic Hero has damage on them at the start of your turn, you can let them attack and then heal them, allowing you to still benefit from the increased strength but keeping them healthy enough to stick around

I know exponents are not for everyone, but I love this kind of math making into Magic even if it doesn't shuffle into the library for later use
Unfair I think for any level of Commander that isnt cEDH, what kind of interaction you choose to play boils down to asking yourself, Is my opponent doing something fair? Graveyard decks are the perfect example to look at for this, as they are fundamentally breaking the rules. Whenever a game action is achieved through spending less mana than it usually should, its considered to be breaking the rules. Similarly, when a game action rewards you with more card advantage, mana production or other resources in greater abundance than the going rate, its also considered to be breaking the rules. Breaking parity in this way whether through a play as powerful as reanimating Griselbrand or something as innocuous as flickering a morph for less mana than the morph cost is what helps us win a game of Magic

Not only does this cause creatures of the chosen type to replace themselves in their owner's hand upon being cast, but simply being aggressive and frequently attacking with numerous creatures can allow a tribal player to reliably fill their hand
